Digital Dentures’ Expanding Horizons
Inside Dental Technology delivers updates on digital workflows, materials, lab techniques, and innovation in dental technology through expert articles and videos.
Dentists, specialists, and laboratory professionals registered to attend the International Digital Denture Symposium being held October 27-28 in Baltimore, MD, will be at the forefront of digital dentistry’s newest and fastest-growing frontier. The explosion of newly launched clinical protocols, materials, and production processes will be the focus of the symposium’s presentations, workshops, and exhibitors, all designed to keep stakeholders informed, engaged, and educated.
“Digital dentures are at the forefront of digital dental technology,” says registered attendee Justin Hayes, Operations Director of Marotta Dental Studio. “I am looking forward to experiencing and learning about the latest systems and technologies on the market.”
That expectation will be met by general session lectures and workshops presented by some of dentistry’s most knowledgeable clinicians and technologists. Jocelyne S. Feine, DDS, Charles Goodacre, DDS, MSD, FACP, Valerie Cooper, DDS, MS, and Christopher Phelps, DMD, CMCT, along with Lee Culp, CDT, Rune Fisker, PhD, MBA, Justin S. Marks, CDT, Andy Jakson, and Alexander Wünsche, CDT, will address the newest digital denture design and fabrication technologies, workflows, and production processes emerging on the market in their general session lectures. In the workshops, demonstrations such as those presented by Michael Anger, MDT, Stephen F. Balshi, MBE, Bill Barton, MM, BS, CDT, TE, Jim Collis, CDT, Friedhelm Klingenburg, Frank Poerschke, Guillermo J. Molina, DDS, Craig Nelson, AAS, CDT, Andrew Johnston, Matthew Viens, and Alexander Wünsche, CDT, will offer attendees the personal insights and experiences of those currently invested in the digital denture process.
“Our world is becoming a digital world,” says Greg Thayer, CDT, FICOI, owner of Thayer Dental Laboratory. “My team and I are attending the International Digital Denture Symposium to acquire a better understanding of the realm of digital dentures so that we can make sound production and business decisions for the future.”
During the Friday night cocktail reception and breaks throughout the day-and-a-half program, laboratory owners are offered the unique opportunity to network with like-minded clinicians and specialists who also are seeking the latest insights into workflow and final production processes and outcomes for digital denture procedures.
