• Nobilium now offers its DentureID digital microchip that laboratories can embed in dentures that will help denture wearers in cases where repair or tooth replacement is needed as well as caregivers if dentures are lost or misplaced.
• Prodways partnered with W2P to launch a new professional performance compact ProMaker LD-3, a moving DLP® 3D printer. This printer has a small footprint for professionals in the dental space.
• Researchers at the University of Buffalo have developed a method to 3D print dentures containing a slow-release antifungal drug to preventively combat fungal infections.
• Stratasys unveiled the J700 Dental, a high-speed 3D printer engineered to address the large capacity loads of orthodontic and dental laboratories. The printer is capable of producing 400 clear aligner molds a day.

• The National Board for Certification in Dental Technology announced it is launching computer-based testing for written examinations beginning July 1.
