Atlanta Show Agenda Set
Inside Dental Technology delivers updates on digital workflows, materials, lab techniques, and innovation in dental technology through expert articles and videos.
The agenda has been set for the 2019 IDT International Digital Denture Symposium, with two days of collaborative education as dentists and laboratory professionals learn together about the exciting and rapidly evolving field of digitally produced removable prosthetics.
This year's symposium will be held September 27-28 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia. Like the sellout events in the past two years in Phoenix, Arizona, and Baltimore, Maryland, this year's symposium will start on a Friday morning and run through Saturday afternoon. Attendees then will have the chance to participate in hands-on workshops with limited seating from 2-5 PM—a new development based on attendee feedback as the show continues to grow.
"There is a demand for more in-depth instruction as a result of some of the exceptional education that has been offered on our main stage and in our breakout sessions," says Valerie Berger, Vice President, Laboratory Division, for AEGIS Dental Network, a platinum sponsor of the event. "In these 3-hour workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with some of the products and techniques they have seen at the symposium."
Registration and breakfast will open at 7 AM Friday, with the first keynote presentation at 8 AM. Four more main-stage presentations will follow, with a half-hour networking break in between. After lunch will be back-to-back breakout sessions with a half-hour networking break in between, followed by one more main-stage presentation and an hour-long cocktail reception.
On Saturday, registration and breakfast again will open at 7 AM, followed by the second keynote presentation at 8 AM and two more main-stage presentations. A half-hour networking break and the final breakout session will follow. One more main-stage presentation, a wrap-up of the event, and lunch will conclude the main portion of the symposium.
