Verderosa, Kukucka to Speak in Atlanta

The first group of speakers has been announced for the 2019 IDT International Digital Denture Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 27-28. Eric Kukucka, DD, and Vincent Verderosa, MDT, CDT, will lecture on the main stage, joining previously announced keynote speaker Andrew Johnson, DDS, MDS, CDT, FACP. Six more speakers, including one more keynote, will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
Kukucka is the President of The Denture Center, with three locations in Ontario, Canada. He is the co-host of the annual IDT Roundtable: Removable Prosthetics meeting in Chicago, Illinois, each February. His presentation will be titled "Digital Dentures: The Future Is Now" and will focus on various aspects of digital removables, including different manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques, from both clinical and technical perspectives. His presentation will be supported by Ivoclar Vivadent.
Verderosa has 42 years' experience in the dental laboratory industry. He owned and operated Greenrose Dental Lab in Long Island, New York, for 16 years and presently is University Laboratory Technician at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. Verderosa spoke at last year's IDT International Digital Denture Symposium about some of the new outsourcing options available, and he will speak this year about his own experience using these options. His presentation will be supported by Zahn Dental.
Johnson is a board-certified prosthodontist and dental laboratory technician practicing in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He will present "The Next Frontier in Digital Denture Design: Integrated Smile Design," supported by AvaDent Digital Dental Solutions.
In addition to the main-stage speakers, the symposium will include 24 courses spread across three breakout sessions, plus optional hands-on workshops on Saturday afternoon following the conclusion of the main program.
