3D Printers in Laboratories
3D printing is no longer the domain of only the early adopters. While some of the more innovative laboratories may have been using 3D printers for years, an Inside Dental Technology survey this year indicates that 46.2% own or lease at least one printer, and 20.2% have more than one.
Regardless of whether they have a printer currently, 79.6% said they plan to purchase a new one in the next 5 years, including 23.3% that plan to purchase one this year.
