Like all of Ivoclar's ovens, the Programat S1 1600 has set the bar at the top of the sintering world. It can use a 90°C heat ramp and opens at 500°C. It can achieve optimal color and accuracy in 3 hours on any large-span bridge and 75 minutes for zirconia less than 1 mm thick. Unlike other furnaces, the S1 1600 also does not discolor low-sintering translucent zirconia. Cheaper furnaces will only go through elements, discolor your zirconia, and sinter slowly. The S1 1600 takes reliability and results to the max. I would hate to use anything else.
1. Power. Four powerful MoSi2 heating elements evenly saturate the zirconia to safely allow a heat ramp of 90˚C per minute. A full tray of esthetic zirconia can be sintered in just 2.5 hours.
2. Robust. Molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heating elements last very long and run strong until the end. They will not wear down or decrease firing quality. Only the broken one must be replaced.
3. Peace of Mind. Ivoclar Vivadent backs the Programat S1 1600 with a 3-year warranty, 1,200-hour heating element warranty, and loaner program.
4. Capacity. Sinter up to 80 units at once with the included dual-stack tray.
