Ivoclar Vivadent's new IPS e.max ZirCAD MT Multi block features a gradual progression of shade and translucency from dentin to incisal. Designed for producing highly esthetic full-contour crowns and three-unit bridges using CEREC and inLab systems, these blocks are composed of a combination of two different materials: medium translucency (MT) 4Y-TZP zirconium oxide and highly translucent (HT) 5Y-TZP zirconium oxide. Additionally, the blocks consist of three zones: 60% dentin, 20% transition, and 20% incisal. As a result, restorations milled from IPS e.max ZirCAD MT Multi blocks exhibit the high levels of brightness in the dentin area and translucency in the incisal area that are characteristic of natural dentition.
