› Brasseler USA's new ZirPro™ All-Ceramic Finishing Instruments are specifically designed for adjusting, contouring, and finishing modern ceramic materials. These new and innovative diamond-impregnated, ceramic-bonded finishers are available in a variety of straight handpiece shapes that can adjust and finish all surfaces of the restoration. The composition of these instruments helps keep them from overheating, which results in cool and efficient finishing. These finishers are recommended for use on zirconia in the sintered state and on IPS e.max® in the pre-crystallized (blue) state. Recommended speeds for the ZirPro All-Ceramic Finishing Instruments are 10,000 to 15,000 rpm, with a maximum speed of 35,000 rpm. Quick reduction of sprues can be accomplished at 10,000 rpm, and adjusting and contouring can be performed at 5,000 rpm.
