As the placement of dental implants has become more affordable in recent years and manufacturers have innovated new hybrid bar options, overdentures have become an increasingly popular restorative option. They are relatively easy to design and fabricate, and the patient can remove them easily to clean them or have them repaired or replaced. If denture teeth are too soft, occlusal forces will lead to wear on the attachments. Delara teeth prevent that.
