Our full-service laboratory, Dental Prosthetic Services, celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, and in a rapidly changing industry, we choose to lead the evolution rather than react to it. We became interested in additive manufacturing approximately 15 years ago, with goals of decreasing waste and inefficiencies. When investing in any technology, we look for partners who are like-minded, which is how we started working with HeyGears in 2019. We now have six HeyGears 3D printers, including the A2D and A2D 4K with HiVE modules. We chose to shift much of our 3D printing to HeyGears because of their responsiveness, reliability, accuracy, and multiple material applications.
They provide a high level of accuracy and detail for optimal patient outcomes, and we have experienced minimal maintenance issues.
With HiVE technology, we maximize throughput by automating parts of our model printing process.
They have become an extension of our team as we rely on them for knowledge, training, and technical support.
