Dentsply Sirona and Rapid Shape have announced a strategic partnership aimed at improving digital denture manufacturing for dental labs. By validating Rapid Shape’s 3D printing technology for use with the Lucitone Digital Print Denture System, the collaboration seeks to offer a streamlined and highly efficient workflow for labs of all sizes.
With an increasing demand for dentures and a shortage of skilled dental technicians, labs are under pressure to produce high-quality prosthetics faster and more cost-effectively. This partnership enables dental technicians to leverage the Lucitone Digital Print Denture System’s proven material strength and aesthetic versatility, now compatible with Rapid Shape’s cutting-edge 3D printers.
The Lucitone Digital Print Denture System is recognized for its durability, strength, and ability to deliver full-arch and partial dentures in 16 A-D tooth shades plus two bleach options. Rapid Shape’s 3D printers, including the high-performance D50+ with its Automatic Separation Module, allow fully automated production of up to 120 dentures across six print jobs—eliminating manual intervention and reducing labor time.
By validating all Lucitone Digital Print materials—including Lucitone Digital Print, Lucitone Digital Value, Lucitone Digital IPN, Lucitone Digital Fuse, and the Digital Cure Units—on Rapid Shape printers, dental labs will have a reliable, scalable solution for producing high-quality dentures without complex assembly or extended processing times.
