Artsyl Technologies has announced the release of ClaimAction 7.2, a software platform now fully supporting the 2024 ADA Dental Claim Form. This update aims to streamline claims processing by offering dental practices automation for the new form’s requirements, which include newly added fields that improve billing workflows.
According to the company, ClaimAction 7.2 can automatically extract and validate all fields on the new form, including recently introduced fields like Box 53a (Locum Tenens Treating Dentist?), Box 39a (Date of Last Scaling and Root Planing), Box 3a (Payer ID), and Box 11a (Other Payer ID). These updates aim to reduce manual input errors and speed up the reimbursement process for dental practices. The new version is also designed to detect whether the form being submitted is the 2019 or the 2024 version, ensuring that the correct layout and classification are applied, even in cases where both versions are still in use.
“With ClaimAction 7.2, dental offices and claims processors can now keep pace with evolving compliance requirements while eliminating inefficiencies tied to manual entry,” said Artur Vassylyev, president and director of engineering at Artsyl Technologies. “Our latest release ensures dental practices can seamlessly transition to the 2024 ADA form and benefit from faster claim approvals, fewer denials, and improved workflow automation — while continuing to deliver robust automation for broader medical claims processing needs.”
The 2024 ADA form’s updates focus on closing key gaps in dental billing, particularly in areas such as reporting for substitute providers, periodontal history, and insurance routing details. By supporting these changes, ClaimAction reduces administrative effort and minimizes the need for handwritten workarounds, helping practices comply with insurance requirements while accelerating their revenue cycle.
ClaimAction’s capabilities extend beyond the dental field. The platform also supports other medical claim forms, including the CMS-1500 (HCFA) for outpatient billing and the UB-04 (CMS-1450) for institutional claims. This makes it a comprehensive solution for automating claims processing across both dental and medical environments.
ClaimAction integrates with practice management systems, electronic health records, and clearinghouses, allowing for end-to-end automation in claims workflows. According to Artsyl Technologies, practices using ClaimAction can expect up to a 90% reduction in manual data entry, leading to faster reimbursement cycles, fewer claim denials, and improved cash flow.
