Glidewell has announced a new partnership with Swiss dental implant manufacturer TRI, expanding its services to support TRI matrix implant users with restorative solutions. The collaboration designates Glidewell as a certified manufacturing center for TRI matrix restorations, making it a validated milling partner for dentists using TRI’s digital-first implant systems.
TRI, based in Switzerland, offers implant systems including the TRI matrix and TRI Performance lines. The company describes the matrix implants as designed for digital workflows, incorporating a connection intended to eliminate the need for separate scan bodies and titanium bases in both single- and multi-unit restorations.
With this partnership, Glidewell will manufacture restorations for TRI matrix cases using its CAD/CAM processes. The company also stated it will offer special pricing for these restorations, which include a lifetime warranty on restorations made from BruxZir Zirconia.
“We are thrilled to be recognized as a certified TRI matrix manufacturing center,” Darius Raudys, general manager of Glidewell's implant department, stated. “It reflects our commitment to precision, quality, and innovation, and we’re proud to offer restorations that integrate flawlessly with their system.”
According to Glidewell, the lab has restored over 4 million implant cases and provides a wide range of implant services, including digital treatment planning, surgical guides, and restorative products. The company noted that the partnership aligns with its ongoing efforts to expand support for implant clinicians through digital solutions and validated workflows.
