Amann Girrbach has introduced Artex Print&Click, an innovative system that enables the production of 3D printed models that can be effortlessly articulated in the Artex articulator. According to a May 8, 2025, press release from the company, the incorporation of an intelligent click-magnet system allows models to be mounted without plaster or tools in a precise manner, simplifying everyday laboratory work.
When dental laboratories receive digital impressions, many print models for control purposes. Until now, mounting these models to an articulator has required the use of plaster, which is a time-consuming process. With Artex Print&Click, models are printed with a special basal support for the model base plate. It is then fixed to the base plate using magnetic force and precisely positioned in the articulator using spacer plates. This results in significant time savings.
Beyond improving workflow efficiency, Artex Print&Click offers predictability and cost savings. The standardized model base and spacer plates help to ensure reliable results, and the reusable components reduce overhead while helping to optimize processes. Moreover, the special spacer plates permit flexible height adjustment for different model heights and positions in the articulator.
Integrated into the Ceramill M-Build software, Artex Print&Click supports a wide range of applications—from models for crowns and bridgework to those for splints, implant work, and complete dentures. And because Artex Print&Click is an open system, it enables the use of a wide variety of 3D printers and resins. This openness and versatility make Artex Print&Click an easy-to-use tool for any dental laboratory that is looking to facilitate the accurate and reproducible transfer of digital data into physical articulation.
