Alvin Chau has been promoted to chief artificial intelligence and technology officer (CAITO) at Frontier Dental Supply, according to a company announcement on June 9. The newly established executive role will focus on implementing artificial intelligence across the organization’s digital operations in North America.
Chau previously served as the company’s chief technology officer. In his new position, he will lead the development of AI-powered tools, automation processes, and data systems. According to the company, these efforts are intended to increase operational efficiency and support technology-based decision-making across business functions.
“Alvin has been a visionary force behind the scalable tech foundation that powers our rapid growth,” said Daniel Gordon, CEO of Frontier Dental Supply. “His leadership in this next chapter — focused on AI and advanced technologies — will ensure we stay ahead of industry transformation and continue delivering unmatched value to our customers.”
Frontier Dental Supply stated that Chau played a central role in launching its eCommerce platform, modernizing digital interfaces, and automating its supply chain operations during his tenure as CTO. As CAITO, he will be responsible for executing the company’s AI roadmap and integrating intelligent systems throughout its infrastructure.

Chau was recently recognized as a “Master of Achievement: Icon in Technology, 2025” by CXO Time Magazine.
The company stated that the creation of the CAITO position reflects its focus on digital transformation and technology-driven services within the dental supply sector. Frontier Dental Supply was founded in 2016 and distributes dental products and technologies across North America.
