VITA North America has opened a new training facility, the VITA Academy, at its headquarters in Brea, California. The space is designed to host educational programs for dental professionals, including hands-on workshops, lectures, and webinars.
The facility includes a 12-station classroom for practical training, a conference room, and a gathering area for events. The first course held in the new space took place in June and was led by dental technician Lukas Wichnalek. The session focused on full-arch workflows, including green-state preparation with attention to anatomy and texture prior to sintering. Participants also practiced monolithic individualization and ceramic micro-stratification.
“Teaching the very first hands-on course about the full-arch workflow at the new VITA Academy in Brea was a true privilege,” said Wichnalek. “This state-of-the-art facility sets a new benchmark for dental education and innovation, providing an ideal environment to inspire and empower professionals.”
VITA North America has scheduled additional courses through the end of 2025. Instructors include Peter Pizzi, Dani Krivorot, Jennifer Dibben, and Noah White. Topics range from anterior tooth anatomy and digital denture workflows to lithium disilicate pressing techniques.
According to the company, the VITA Academy is intended to support both dental practices and laboratories by providing access to educational resources and training opportunities. Registration is open for upcoming sessions, and space is limited.
