John Flucke, DDS, has launched The Technology Evangelist Podcast, a new audio and video series focused on emerging technologies in dentistry and their practical application in clinical settings. The podcast is part of the Medidenta Digital Solutions Network and is currently available on the Medidenta website and Spotify.
The series features a mix of solo explainers, expert interviews, and clinical case-based insights. Topics include AI-supported diagnostics, digital imaging, CAD/CAM workflows, 3D printing, minimally invasive therapeutics, cybersecurity, endodontic and restorative innovations, and practice management strategies.
“Dentistry is rapidly evolving, and clinicians deserve a trusted, hype-free guide,” Flucke said in a press release. “My goal is to translate breakthrough technology into practical steps that elevate the standard of care, clinical efficiency, and the patient experience.”
New episodes are released twice a month, the press release said. Upcoming guests include Michael Ventriello and Mark Ross, co-founders of Personify Group, discussing brand building through storytelling; Dr. Rick Ferguson on digital dentistry adoption; Dr. Cory Glenn on achieving results in 3D printing; and Tasha Dickinson, CEO of Siligent, on cybersecurity for dental offices and labs.
Archived episodes currently available include conversations with Sean Ryan and Flucke on digital dentistry, Ayush Bagla of Ackuretta on 3D printing, and Dr. Ben Kellum on community dental care. Other available episodes feature Dr. Todd Snyder, Dr. Lori Trost, Dr. Bryan Kariya, Dr. Dale Miles, and Dr. David Rice, each addressing different aspects of digital and restorative care.
Flucke is a practicing dentist and serves as chief technology editor for Dental Products Report. He has evaluated numerous products chairside and has a long history of presenting dental technology topics to professional audiences.
