TBS Dental has announced the nationwide launch of the Master Restorative Kit, developed in collaboration with Dr. Neal Patel, DDS, CDT, and first introduced at DS World 2025 in Las Vegas. According to the company, the kit is designed to simplify restorative dentistry procedures, including crown, bridge, and implant workflows.
The Master Restorative Kit contains 24 instruments housed in a patented sterilizable cassette intended to support every stage of restorative treatment, from digital impressions through final seating. According to the company, its compact design allows up to four cassettes to be processed at once in a standard sterilizer.
“This kit puts a smile on my face,” said Dr. Neal Patel, global educator and innovator in digital dentistry. “It includes instruments I helped design, but more importantly, it streamlines daily procedures — from single-unit crowns to anterior composites, to unscrewing temporary implants and seating the final restoration. We went through more than 20 iterations of the unique crown spreader alone, and TBS had me try to break it — I couldn’t.”
According to TBS Dental, the kit includes specialized tools such as the 6-in-1 Composite Contouring Instrument, Patel Crown Removing FRINGS®, a next-generation crown spreader, and the Patel Explorer. The company stated that the system was engineered for both efficiency and functionality in restorative workflows.
“Dentistry has never had a single restorative kit capable of doing it all, until now,” said Haseeb Sajid, CEO of TBS Dental. “This kit represents the culmination of decades of refinement, while also setting a new benchmark for efficiency, precision, and design in restorative instrumentation.”
According to the company, the Master Restorative Kit is available to clinicians through Patterson Dental representatives and the TBS Dental website.
TBS Dental develops dental instrumentation with a focus on design, engineering, and clinician collaboration. Its product portfolio includes the FRINGS® forceps line and BIOLOGICS instruments.
