Velmeni and Jazz Imaging have announced a strategic partnership intended to incorporate Velmeni’s artificial intelligence platform into Jazz Imaging’s intraoral imaging systems. According to the companies, the collaboration is designed to connect the Jazz Classic platform with Velmeni’s cloud-based AI so dental scans can be uploaded automatically for analysis.
According to the companies, AI findings such as pathology detections and other diagnostic insights will appear directly in the Jazz Classic interface. The announcement states that the integration is intended to support clinical decision-making and assist with communication between dental professionals and patients.

According to the companies, the collaboration aims to establish a combined approach to imaging and diagnostic automation by connecting Jazz Imaging’s hardware and software with Velmeni’s AI capabilities. The companies state that the joint solution is intended to increase the speed and consistency of imaging analysis in daily practice.
Velmeni develops AI systems for dental care, including Velmeni One, a unified platform that incorporates two-dimensional and three-dimensional tools, claims automation, and voice functions. According to the company, its platform integrates with various imaging and practice management systems to support pathology detection and patient education.
Jazz Imaging manufactures dental x-ray sensors and imaging software. The company’s products include the SOLO and MINOR sensors and the Classic imaging platform. Jazz Imaging reports that its subscription model, known as the Jazz Club, offers coverage, replacements, consistent monthly costs, and access to Classic software.
