Align Technology, Inc. reported key activities from its participation in the 2025 Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM), focusing on digital workflow advancements relevant to clinical practice. The company presented updates across the Align™ Digital Platform, which is designed to support integrated clinical and laboratory workflows through connected software, systems, and services.
exocad, an Align Technology company, presented the newest release of its CAD/CAM software, DentalCAD® 3.3 Chemnitz, featuring an expanded Implant Module, a new split-denture workflow, and an AI-enabled multi-unit design option (available in selected markets).
Throughout the meeting, Align and exocad hosted educational programming centered on digital treatment planning, interdisciplinary care, and approaches to enhancing the patient experience.
Hands-on demonstrations at the booth included several clinical workflow–oriented tools:
- iTero Lumina™ scanner: Uses Multi-Direct Capture™ technology to provide an enlarged field of view and extended capture distance. The system is designed to facilitate improved imaging of complex intraoral areas, support full-arch accuracy, and aid in predictable first-time restoration fit across a range of prosthetic applications.
- Align™ Oral Health Suite: A set of comparison and communication tools intended to help clinicians integrate multimodal findings into patient discussions. Scan data from iTero Element™ Plus and iTero Lumina™ systems can be incorporated into chairside assessments to support conversations about oral health conditions and treatment needs.
- Invisalign Smile Architect™: Treatment planning software now offering Multiple Treatment Plans, enabling side-by-side visualization of orthodontic and ortho-restorative approaches within ClinCheck®.
- iTero™ Design Suite: Software aimed at supporting in-practice 3D-printing workflows through simplified design tools integrated within the broader Align™ Digital Platform.
- ClinCheck® Signature experience: A live, more streamlined treatment-planning workflow—available globally—supported by tools such as Invisalign® Personalized Plan, ClinCheck® Pro, Flex Rx, ClinCheck® Live Update, and ClinCheck® Live Plan.
