According to the company, Glidewell Signature is intended to reduce uncertainty in restorative cases while supporting collaboration between clinicians and the dental laboratory. The framework is designed to support a range of restorative workflows and provide structured guidance throughout treatment planning and restoration delivery.
The service integrates tools that include AI-enhanced patient smile simulations, a 3D design viewer, and digital communication with the laboratory to review and approve designs. According to the company, these tools are intended to help clinicians confirm treatment plans and support patient acceptance.
Additional components of the service include 3D-printed models, preparation guides, additive and subtractive matrices, gingivectomy stents, and STL design files. According to the company, these tools are intended to support esthetic case planning and execution.

According to the company, clinicians begin the workflow by submitting two clinical photographs and digital scans through My Account, the company’s online portal. The Glidewell Signature team then uses AI-enhanced smile design tools to produce smile simulations and mockups that can be reviewed with the patient.
Once a treatment plan is established, the service guides clinicians through the restorative process. According to the company, a concierge support team of dental technicians is available to assist with decisions and coordinate the transition between clinical planning and final restoration delivery.
