Pearl and RipeGlobal have announced a collaboration focused on advancing dental education related to the clinical and operational use of artificial intelligence (AI). The initiative reflects a broader shift toward incorporating AI competencies into professional training for dental practitioners.
The partnership is introduced in the context of an ongoing skills gap in dentistry. Although dental schools graduate clinically qualified practitioners, data cited by the organizations indicate that new dentists may be proficient in a limited subset of general dentistry procedures at the time of graduation. This gap has implications for practice efficiency, productivity, and consistency in patient care delivery.
The collaboration brings together Pearl’s work in AI-based diagnostic tools and RipeGlobal’s digital education platform. As part of the initiative, Pearl users will receive temporary access to RipeGlobal’s educational content, including on-demand courses, live instruction, and collaborative learning formats. The materials are designed to support clinicians and dental teams in understanding and applying AI technologies within routine workflows.
The program is expected to be particularly relevant for multi-site dental organizations, where variability in clinical experience and the need for standardized care protocols are ongoing considerations. The integration of AI tools with structured training may offer one approach to supporting consistency in diagnostics and treatment planning, especially among early-career clinicians.
RipeGlobal’s platform will serve as the primary delivery channel for educational content developed through the collaboration. Planned offerings include courses and live sessions addressing AI literacy, implementation strategies, and evaluation of outcomes in clinical and operational contexts.
“AI is transforming every aspect of dentistry from diagnosis and case presentation to patient communication and operational efficiency. Practitioners gain an outsized advantage by becoming fluent in AI; that AI fluency is what we are delivering with RipeGlobal,” said Ophir Tanz, founder and CEO of Pearl. “Our partnership with RipeGlobal creates a new standard where AI-enhanced diagnostics and elite training converge, ensuring that dental professionals everywhere can confidently adopt AI and transform both their performance and patient outcomes.”
“When it comes to AI, knowledge is the bridge between innovation and impact. To that end, this partnership represents a quantum leap in dental education technology,” said Dr. Lincoln Harris, Founder and CEO of RipeGlobal. “Integrating with Pearl allows us to help dentists not only understand AI technology, but also apply it in ways that elevate both the standard of care and the quality of their day-to-day operations.”
