HeyGears has announced two major validations for its UltraCraft series printers, expanding the capabilities of their digital dental manufacturing solutions for dental laboratories. These new validations from Dentsply Sirona and Detax demonstrate HeyGears' growing influence in the dental 3D printing ecosystem and provide labs with more options for their restoration applications and digital workflow.
Lucitone Digital Print Denture™ System Accessible with UltraCraft Printers
HeyGears' UltraCraft A2D and A2D 4K printers have received validation for use with Dentsply Sirona's Lucitone Digital Print Denture™ (LDPD) system. This validation encompasses the full range of Lucitone Digital Print materials, including options for both premium and economy dentures: Lucitone Digital Print, Lucitone Digital Value, Lucitone Digital IPN, and Lucitone Digital Fuse, and the Digital cure units. Also now accessible with the LDPD system will be validated workflows, such as the BAM!™ smart polymer technology.
The validation comes at a crucial time for dental laboratories facing increasing demand for efficient, high-quality denture production. "Our goal is to provide all labs access to the LDPD system, enabling them to quickly produce the most comfortable, technologically sophisticated dentures available today," said Bruce Peatey, group vice president, Americas Regional Commercial Organization, Dentsply Sirona, in a press release.
For laboratories utilizing HeyGears' technology, this validation means access to Lucitone's renowned mechanical strength and comprehensive system for full arch and partial denture production, with options available in 16 A-D plus two bleach shades for teeth.
Detax FREEPRINT® Materials Validated for UltraCraft
In a parallel development, HeyGears has also announced the validation of Detax FREEPRINT® temp and FREEPRINT® denture resins for use with the UltraCraft A2D printer and UltraCraft PCU 3.0 post-curing unit. This validation particularly benefits labs looking for high-end solutions in temporary restorations and denture applications.
The validated materials offer specific advantages for laboratory workflows:
- FREEPRINT® temp: Specialized for temporary crowns and bridges, featuring high strength and natural aesthetics
- FREEPRINT® denture: Engineered for denture bases, providing flexibility and stable mechanical properties
Both options are light-curing, biocompatible resins that provide easy cleaning and reduced waste for an efficient and first-rate result.
Enhanced Laboratory Workflow Options
Both validations significantly expand the capabilities of HeyGears' UltraCraft printer series. The UltraCraft A2D provides an entry point for labs beginning their digital transformation, while the A2D 4K offers advanced features including ultra-high precision and compatibility with the high-volume enabler (HiVE) automated part removal module for continuous production.
"By validating our UltraCraft A2D and A2D 4K 3D printers for these premium materials, we're affirming our belief in the value of integrated solutions while helping to streamline the denture production process," Peiyan Gui, CEO and co-founder of HeyGears, stated in a press release.
For dental laboratories, these validations represent expanded options in digital denture production, temporary restorations, and efficient workflow solutions. Labs can now leverage HeyGears' printing technology with a broader range of validated materials from industry leaders, helping meet the growing demand for digital dental solutions.
