Sirona inLab CAD/CAM users and non-users from all corners of the country and beyond gathered May 8 and 9 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas, Texas for two intensive days of education and networking.
More than 200 attendees were welcomed Friday morning by Norbert Ulmer, Director of Laboratory CAD/CAM inLab Marketing, and given a preview by Joerg Hasselbauer, Product Manager CAD/CAM Laboratory Software, of the company’s new SW15 CAD software set to launch this summer. Afterward, attendees selected from 18 different 45-minute lectures and hands-on learning modules presented throughout the day-and-a-half meeting. “Sirona inLab users are part of an exclusive, tight-knit community that shares their passion for technology and education to enhance the level of dental care for their dentists and patients,” Ulmer told Inside Dental Technology.
From receiving practical hands-on training on the new SW15 software, Sirona digital impression scanners, and scanning triple-tray impressions with the inEos X5 to hearing lectures offering a sneak preview of new materials and indications, Sirona Connect, and marketing advice, attendees immersed themselves in an educational experience geared to keep their businesses on target and competitive in the market. Between sessions, attendees gathered around the tables of Summit sponsors—VITA, GC America, Harvest Dental, and Patterson Dental—to talk to company representatives and learn more about the products they had on display.
“I walk away energized from the education I receive from these summits and feel excited about my business and the industry,” said one attendee.
